This picture was chosen to be printed out and hung in the Spori building. I do love this one. I took it on our photo excursion to Bannack Ghost Town in Montana. I loved a lot of my portraits that I took at Bannack, but this one is definitely one of my favorites.
With this picture I got down low to get a different angle. My ISO was at 200, shutter speed was 1/100, aperture was 6.3, and the focal length was 39.0 mm.
As far as editing goes, I first sharpened the photo to get some good detail. Then, I masked in the sky because, as you can see in the original image, the sky was washed out. I then used the dodge and burn tool to darken the background (sky) and lighten the sheriff. I also increased the vibrance.
To print I sized my image to 16×24 and then added a little extra to the left side (canvas size) making it 18×24. I went to Walmart and it was super easy to order. They print it for you and have you come pick it up at a certain time.
